We at the PTA aim to find ways to raise funds to benefit the children of The Derby High School now and in the future.
We formed in 2003 and are now a team of dedicated parents with a single goal.
We all know the limitations and budgets imposed by central government and whatever else we can provide for the school is greatly needed and instantly put to good use.

Fully aware that in a world of ever increasing pressures and limitations on our time, we must work at those events which require the least amount of effort for the biggest return.
All ideas would be gratefully received.

In this vein we have held a Christmas raffle , several fashion shows and clothes sales including a 'Pre Prom Event' last year which gave some of the pupils a chance to dress up in ball gowns and tuxedos with their hair and make up done by professionals, and also various tuck shops at Christmas discos and school production nights.

We currently run a monthly prize draw called the 100 Club which has grown from year to year and provides cash prizes each month with an equal amounts going into the school funds for the children. Please click the 100 club link to find out more.
