Weekly Clubs & Activities
Our lunchtime and morning enrichment clubs give students the chance to relax, learn, compete, and connect, and all activities contribute to Derby Diploma credits.

Chess is playable every day, with regular tournaments and tuition on Fridays.
Library Team & Student Roles
Our Library is supported by a dedicated team of Student Librarians and Library Assistants who help with duties during social times.
- Apply to join the team every half term
- Team Meeting: Fridays, 8:15 – 8:35am
Additional Library Facilities
Students also have access to:
- Computers for research and homework
- A4 Colour Printer
- Jigsaws, Scrabble, Puzzle Sheets, and Colouring Sheets
Library Passes and Access Doors
To visit the Library at specific times:
- Before school 8:10 - 8:25am : Collect a Morning Pass the day before. Buzz the door at Front Reception and Office staff will sign you in. Use the staff stairs to access the Library and sign in with the Librarian.
- Break: No pass required - use the B floor doors to enter and exit
- Lunchtime: Use the Staff Stairs and show a library pass to the Prefects. Collect a library pass the day before
- After School: No pass required - use the B floor doors to enter and exit
